1. Core principles
Cruxible is a ranked arena built on fair competition and genuine learning. Use it honestly, respect other people, respect the integrity of the ratings, and don’t attack the infrastructure. If something would undermine those principles, don’t do it.
2. Prohibited conduct
Cheating & arena abuse
- manipulating, inflating, or gaming Elo ratings, leaderboards, streaks, or achievements;
- using multiple handles to distort rankings or evade enforcement;
- submitting answers obtained by exploiting bugs rather than solving the problem;
- tampering with client-side scoring, test execution, or the AI judge to fake results.
Attacks on the sandboxes & Service
- attempting to escape, disable, or exploit the JavaScript/Python code sandboxes;
- attempting to break, jailbreak, or manipulate the AI design judge;
- probing for, scanning, or exploiting security vulnerabilities without authorization;
- overloading, flooding, or otherwise disrupting the Service or its infrastructure (e.g. denial-of-service).
Automated abuse & scraping
- scraping, harvesting, or bulk-downloading problems, lessons, or other content;
- using bots, crawlers, or scripts to access the Service in a disruptive or unauthorized way;
- circumventing rate limits, access controls, or technical protections.
Harmful, illegal, or abusive content
- uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code outside an intended challenge context;
- harassing, threatening, bullying, or hateful conduct toward others;
- posting illegal content, or content that infringes others’ intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation;
- using the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
3. Responsible security research
We welcome good-faith security research. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it privately to legal@cruxible.dev and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosure. Do not access or modify other users’ data, degrade the Service, or exfiltrate data beyond what is needed to demonstrate the issue.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including warning you, removing content, resetting or adjusting ratings, restricting features, reclaiming handles, and suspending or terminating access — with or without notice. Serious or illegal conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities. We may also preserve and disclose information where required by law.
5. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it to legal@cruxible.dev with as much detail as you can (handles involved, links, timestamps, and a description). We review reports and act on them as appropriate.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP as the Service evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
